


It's the least you can do for what they've made for you as an artist.

If you do intend to go pro or make money from your art, support the developers if you can. I do however feel that if you do not intend (or are not able) to make money from less than legally obtained software and you're simply using it for your personal studies, you're not directly hurting anybody, since you're not "denying" anyone their salary, so to speak. There are ways of obtaining it for free, but they're not entirely legal or moral. Legally I don't think you can get a license for free as a student.
